Healthy Competition
As usual the action never stops in Bone Fish's four walls. Aside from relocating our head quarters to a much larger office suite in the same building to accommodate for the interminable additions to the BF team, we have also once again expanded our affiliate client-base to provide you with even healthier competition.
Two of our newest players this week in the online dating game are “Hounslow Online” and “1 Soul Mate 4 U”. The former is a comprehensive guide to Hounslow town that encompasses news stories and relevant local issues and information. With this site, Bone Fish Ltd has performed an integration so that the navigation menu is maintained to help follow suit with the branding and identity. Check out http://www.hounslowtw3.net/ to see for yourself.
The second addition to the Bone Fish portfolio, “1 Soul Mate 4 U”, sees Bone Fish Ltd include a dating service into a creative blog. Located at http://www.1soulmate4u.com/, this site is run by the highly reputable relationship columnist and author, Leah Gray, who appears to offer a little something for everyone.
Take a look at her new dating service by clicking on the link above, or browse her other sites at: http://www.www.girltalk-ladiesonly.blogspot.com/ and http://www.creative-blogger.com/.
Bone Fish Ltd hopes to see both “Hounslow Online” and “1 Soul Mate 4 U” flourish into very successful online dating services, and reminds that them that any queries and questions can be directed to: affiliates@bone-fish.com.
Kindest regards,
The Bone Fish Affiliate Team
Pump up the volume
Not all of Bone Fish affiliates are online marketing experts and as such, at times many of you need a helping hand where increasing traffic is concerned. Therefore, and largely due to the recent increase in applications to our service, we are starting a weekly guide on how to help pump up the volume of traffic to your sites. For the benefit of those that have just begun, we’re taking things back to basics and are starting right from the beginning…
The Bone Fish Guide to Online Marketing
Pay per click advertising (PPC) in simple termsPay per click advertising is a way of marketing your company on the net, without having to pay a fixed amount for advertising space on a web page. With PPC advertising, the advertiser only pays when someone actually clicks on their advert, which consequently takes them to a previously-specified page on their website. From a searcher´s point of view, a PPC search engine is virtually the same as a normal search engine – however, with a PPC search engine the results are business and product related. Essentially, most PPC search engines have large distribution networks so that their results are seen on a number of different sites. Thus, from an advertiser´s point of view, PPC search engines are a great way to generate low-cost “targeted” traffic.
How pay per click advertising worksA pay per click search engine allows potential advertisers to open an account and deposit money as a starting balance. With this, the advertiser can enter their site´s URL, title and description, and bid on relevant keywords. (For example, a site selling widgets would bid on keywords such as, "widgets," "small widgets," "blue widgets" etc).
Therefore, when someone searches the internet for "widgets", the details of the advertiser’s site appear in the form of a “search result”, displaying the URL, title and description that were previously entered by the advertiser. If the searcher clicks on the advertiser’s listing, the amount that he/she bid on the keyword is consequently withdrawn from their account. PPC advertising is an inexpensive way to get any site off to a great start and to help see an increase in traffic and sales in a relatively short space of time.
Those that have found the above information of use and would like to begin familiarising themselves further with how search engine advertising works, take a look at: http://www.google.com/ads/.
