Bone Fish takes a leap in the right direction
"Happy Leap Day" to all. It is February 29th and the only socially-accepted occasion for women around the world to propose to their male counterparts. And on this perfect calendar day that occurs only once every four years, Bone Fish Ltd seals its latest relationship with one of Spains most prestigious and most popular, freely distributed expat publications - H! Magazine.
H! Magazine is a glossy lifestyle magazine on the Costa del Sol which focuses largely on news, social events, celebs, travel, motoring, fashion, health, beauty and music - and much, much more. With a print run of 26,000 along the Spanish coast and on the islands, H! Magazine is one of the widest circulated publications in the area, and "the place to be" for content and advertisers alike.
Bone Fish sees its union with H! Magazine as the start of a great expansion into southern Spain, and hopes to see it flourish into a distinguished and highly recognised dating site to match its standing in the publishing industry. Bone Fish wishes the team at H! Magazine the very best of luck and invites all affiliates to visit their online version at: http://www.h-magazine.com/. Taking a look at the site should also give affiliates the perfect insight into how Bone Fish can take a company's branding to create a dating service that keeps in context with an established identity. (Example pictured below).
We hope that our new service will increase traffic to http://www.h-magazine.com/ so that both parties can duly benefit from this novel partnership and development.
Suzi Takes the Bait
As you can see, this month at Bone Fish it is all about progress and expansion. In actual fact, not only is the company spreading its wings over the border and continually forming partnerships with companies in other countries, but it is also expanding its team to better serve and assist its affiliates.
This month we welcome a couple of additions to our technical and development teams, as well as a dedicated Public Relations Executive that will not only help to get the Bone Fish brand recognised throughout the world, but will also take an active role in pushing online dating as a whole.
From a communications and publishing background, Suzi Langley has worked in Madrid and in southern Spain for some of the world's most prestigious media-related agencies in a variety of roles (Copywriter, Sub-Editor, Chief Editor) in both the publishing and advertising industries. She is based at our head office in Gibraltar, and is your first point of contact for any media-related queries or questions.
Suzi can be contacted at: Suzi.Langley@bone-fish.com.
That is it for today. Have a great weekend and remember - with it being a leap year, you have an extra 24 hours to make even more sales and generate even more commissions. So keep up the good work and do not get side-tracked by women offering proposals of marriage.
Kindest Regards,
The Bone Fish Affiliate Team
And finally... NB: For those that enjoy weird and wonderful facts and myths, you might like to know that the idea of Leap Year and Leap Day dates back to 1288. It is said that in this year, on this day, the Scottish Parliament under Queen Margaret legislated that any woman could propose to a man during a Leap Year. What is more, if a man was to reject a womans proposal, he should soften the blow by providing a kiss, a pair of gloves (other sources say a silk gown), and a hefty fine for her humiliation. It was decreed that a man could only refuse a proposal - and get away without receiving any form of punishment - if he was already engaged to another lady.
The Leap Year Day tradition stems from the fact that February 29th was not a real day and had no status in English law - therefore, normal customs had no status either.
