Filling great gaps in the market

Firstly, we`d like to thank all affiliates for their feedback regarding our website revamp at http://www.bone-fish.com/. We`re delighted that you`ve all warmed to our new corporate identity and are finding your way around the new site with relative ease. At all times we strive to provide our affiliates with the standard of service that they have come to expect from Bone Fish Ltd, so please feel free to get in touch regarding any aspect that you are - or dare I say, aren`t - happy with. We`re always available to listen to what you have to say and at all times consider our affiliates to be part of our core team!

If you were too busy last week working on your sites to read the Bone Fish newsletter, then you may be unaware of all the changes that have recently taken place. The company website found at http://www.bone-fish.com/ has been given a more modern and upbeat appearance, the corporate identity as a whole has been revolutionised to achieve a more proficient standing in the marketplace, the admin centre and members` area are in the final stages of a complete make-over, and about a week ago, a novel new network was added to the Bone Fish product portfolio.

Welcome to the world`s FIRST-EVER BLACK white label dating network! Having acknowledged the increasing demand for a black network in the online dating sector - and being made aware of just how unexploited it is in the white label industry - Bone Fish Ltd is proud to have now filled a much-needed gap in the market and to have provided its affiliates with a network not currently included in competitor portfolios. We`d like to point out that as such, this is the WORLD`S FIRST-EVER BLACK niche network to be created by a white label provider, and taking into considering the large demand and potentially very high conversion rates, without a doubt this is a network that`s sure to flourish.

To give you an example of just how fantastic the black-orientated market can be, take a look at our very first "solely-black affiliate site", http://www.black-friend-finder.com/, which is aimed at those seeking romance or friendship in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. With its exceptionally clean and minimalist feel, combined with the fact that in these areas there is an extremely high demand for a networking site such as this, we can see that Black Friend Finder is undoubtedly destined to succeed in the very near future.

Of course, Bone Fish Ltd wish both the affiliate and the site the very best of luck with the new online coloured community, and would also like to encourage others to check out the network and study its potential too. Please note that for the time being this network can be located in the admin centre under the heading, "Friendship" - rather than "Black". (But this shall probably change further down the line). And remember, you don`t need expressed permission from Bone Fish Ltd to add a new network to a new site - so just go ahead as only YOU can make it happen! That`s it for this week. We`ll be back next week with some more news from the Bone Fish offices in sunny Gibraltar. In the meantime, don`t lose momentum with the marketing of your sites and don`t forget to take heed of some of our suggestions in our weekly online marketing guide.

Kindest regards,

The Bone Fish Affiliate Team

The Bone Fish Guide to Online Marketing

Part Four: More Important Considerations With Pay Per Click Campaigns

It`s all about trial and error and testing, testing, testing! If you`re new to online marketing, then we advise that you start off with a small investment rather than a major investment until you figure out what works best for you and your campaign. Start with the minimum amount and monitor how the search engine performs in terms of traffic - and more specifically, how well that traffic converts into actual sales. At all times you should observe your return on investment (ROI) and ensure that the search engine you`ve chosen is producing the results you expected.

However, before actually spending any money with a search engine, you should consider its credentials and read the small print - especially regarding fraudulent activity. To be safe, it`s advisable to ask the following questions before taking the jump:

How many searches are performed each month through this search engine?
How many searches are generated per month by the search partners or affiliates?
Can you opt out of having your listing appear in the results of the affiliate sites?
Does the search engine have any fraudulent prevention systems in place?
Will an account be credited for fraudulent clicks discovered?
Is it possible to opt out of having your listing appear on searches originating from certain countries?
Is there a posted terms of service for search partners or affiliates?

In our opinion, it`s best to choose a search engine that has strict guidelines for dealing with their search affiliates. Because you really do want to ensure that the search engine is working hard to prevent fraudulent activity amongst its partners! Remember, at the end of the day you want targeted, quality traffic rather than a large quantity of poor traffic or traffic that`s likely to result in fraudulent activity.

Good luck... and don`t forget to read the small print.
