Bone Fish takes a leap in the right direction

This past week Bone Fish Ltd has seen an influx of applications for new affiliate websites. As such, we would like to welcome those that are new to the service and inform them that guidance and support is available for most aspects for the set up, execution and operation of their networking site. Simply email the affiliate department at: affiliates@bone-fish.com for help!

IP Redirection

Following a number of requests, a few months back we implemented a new system that allows affiliates to point their domain or sub-domain directly at our service. For those that are new to the Bone Fish programme (or for those that are still unaware of this), the IP address to use is: 72.232.185.9.

To ensure that this works, affiliates must verify that the domain name in the admin centre is the same as the domain that they are pointing to the Bone Fish server. For more assistance on this matter, get in touch with your designated affiliate account manager.

Marketing Tips

Although Bone Fish Ltd does not assist with marketing matters, when we come across an interesting tool that is likely to aid affiliates with increasing traffic to their sites or generating sales, we like to make them aware of its existence - and this is the case this week. If any of you out there are looking to target the US market, you might like to consider Findology.com. Not only does this site have good traffic and a great ranking, but it's a targeted search engine that has extremely promising potential.

Furthermore, and perhaps most interesting of all, is that it has a fairly fantastic offer right now that's not to be missed neither. Sign up and get $50 in free clicks!

For a limited period of time, Findology is offering a $50 credit for those that open an account through the promotional page below and deposit a minimum amount of $25.

Other features with Findology include: traffic reporting, keyword and editorial reviews in 24 hours, keyword stats, auto and fixed bidding options (with a minimum bid of $.03 cents)? and much more. Take a look and see for yourself.

Keep an eye on your bonus and traffic!

And finally, for those of you that were too busy generating sales to read our previous newsletter, we remind you that affiliate bonuses can now be found live in the admin centre. To see where you're heading with your sites, take a look in your account under the "Statistics" section, and enter the new link titled "Bonus".

And to keep track of your traffic, remember - if you're employing CPC marketing campaigns or similar, you can now track conversions to both the "registration" AND the "payment confirmation" pages by inserting the tracking code into the "HTML Edit" page. Never before have white label dating affiliates had so much control!

Kindest regards,

The Bone Fish Affiliate Team

Press: Bone Fish Ltd joins forces with SpectrumX Co.

White label dating provider Bone Fish Ltd joins forces with psychometric testing enterprise SpectrumX Co. Ltd to launch “The Personality Profiler”

March 20, 2008

Bone Fish Ltd, (www.bone-fish.com) the world’s first ever FREE provider of white label dating solutions with a membership base that spans the globe of over 3 million, has partnered with SpectrumX (www.TestsOntheNet.com) to expand its ever-increasing portfolio of affiliate products.

In the coming months, Bone Fish Ltd will not only offer its affiliates immediate access to a niche database of members, a comprehensive site builder, technical assistance, customer services and accounts management, but it will also offer the option of incorporating a fully-branded personality profiler into its affiliate dating and social networking sites – and at no extra cost.

The Personality Profiler, which is based on the works of Carl Gustav Jung – the distinguished Swiss psychiatrist and originator of Jungian Psychology – is a highly acclaimed and accurate scientific model for analysing personality and behaviour. It helps individuals to establish and build upon relationships with others, and as a result, over time has become extensively popular for use in business, education, recruitment and governmental institutions. With the integration of this value-added service into Bone Fish’s more than 15,000 affiliate sites, the fully-customisable white label programme is set to offer networking individuals more accurate and more precise member profiling and auto-matching. As such, Bone Fish Ltd feels that a pioneering feature of this kind will allow affiliates to experience a boost in traffic, membership sales and member retention – and following this, an increase in commissions.

To develop this psychometric and psychological profiler, SpectrumX has worked alongside the world-renowned Psychological Research Foundation to incorporate a number of scientific factors – and the result is a product that is more extensive and more consistent than most other profiling tests on the World Wide Web today. What’s more, unlike competitor ‘character profilers’, this is one of the few behavioural assessments that provides the test-taker with an unadulterated report of their own personality type, whilst at the same time providing a meticulous overview of the traits and character types that are most likely to result in successful “member compatibility” matches.

Admittedly, Bone Fish Ltd is not the first collective of online dating sites to offer its members a personality profile tester such as this – however, it will be the one of the first to offer a feature that provides invariably accurate results that prove to be productive and very precise for each and every search.

Bone Fish Ltd is proud to hold the exclusivity for the Personality Profiler in the white label dating sector, and expects that this feature will give the company an even more solid and competitive edge in terms of service and product portfolio for both members and affiliates.

Bone Fish Ltd continually strives to offer its partners a service and programme that is unparalleled in the marketplace, and by implementing this psychological character tester based on Jungian Psychology, it hopes to take member profiling within the online dating and social networking sector to another level.

Press: Bone Fish Ltd and Stockport FC

Bone Fish Testimonial

A few weeks back Bone Fish Ltd – the world’s first ever free provider of white label dating solutions with a membership base of over 3 million – took possession of some 500 pixels on http://www.groundforapound.com/ in an attempt to help Stockport County FC buy back their home at Edgeley Park.

Without expecting any real results, Bone Fish Ltd was pleasantly surprised to be alerted to the fact that the pixels purchased on “Ground for a Pound” were driving a substantial amount of traffic to their site. In fact, in less than a month it experienced an astounding 1,750 click-thoughs to http://www.bone-fish.com/ and saw a sizeable increase in awareness about the white label programme as a global brand.

Michael Fitzgerald, Director of Bone Fish Ltd, exclaimed: “It was my dedication for Stockport FC that lead me to unexpectedly take part in this initiative. Therefore, you can understand my delight when I discovered that not only had “Ground for a Pound” generated an interest in the company as a whole, but it had also shown a remarkable return on investment for a very worth-while cause.

“As a result, Bone Fish Ltd is at present considering sponsorship for one of it’s many other dating and social networking brands and taking its participation in the scheme one step further. Because if http://www.groundforapound.com/ can generate this many clicks for a niche service directed really only at webmasters, marketers and lovers of affiliate programmes, imagine what it could do for an actual dating site such as http://www.somethingcupid.com/ or http://www.onlyoneforme.com/”.

Bone Fish Ltd wishes “Ground for a Pound” all the best of luck in its quest to buy back the Stockport FC stadium and hopes to see the sale of the remaining 900,000 pixels in the very near future.

Bone Fish takes a leap in the right direction

At the start of the year, Bone Fish Ltd introduced a new 100% bonus scheme with very attainable and very realistic targets to help all affiliates generate more commission than ever before. This scheme pays out 100% commission on all new sales that are made over-and-above an affiliate's bonus target. Bonus targets are set in accordance with an affiliate's individual sales history - and thus, all affiliates are given the chance to smash their targets and take home that bit more. Due to the fact that Bone Fish reassesses all targets on a monthly basis - and revises them accordingly - most affiliates are finding that their goals are changing each month. As such, Bone Fish Ltd wants to make it easier for affiliates to identify what targets they need to hit in order to reach their objectives.

See your monthly bonus target online

If you take a look in the online admin centre under your affiliate account, and head into the ?Statistics section, you'll notice that down the left hand menu there is a new link to a new page titled "Bonus"Here, you can view what your new monthly target has been set at (this may or may not have changed and largely depends upon your previous month's sales figures), view the sum of your actual sales, and view how many sales you have left to make before you shatter your target.

Also on this page you can see how this information relates to your performance history and thus, you can see what quantity of commission you're likely to make at the end of the month. The required daily average gives you an indication of what you have to achieve on a daily basis to make hitting your target a likely scenario; the average sale is the current mean price that your site charges its members for a subscription, and your estimated commission looks at the larger picture and gives a realistic representation of what you could be taking home.

With the new bonus page that lies within the online admin centre, identifying your objectives and targets couldn't be simpler. Take a look and see for yourself. It's reasonably self-explanatory, but if you do require more assistance with this matter, feel free to contact the affiliate team at: affiliates@bone-fish.com , or contact us through our online help desk at http://www.bone-fish.com/.

Keep track of your traffic

This month there are even more innovations and advances afoot at Bone Fish Ltd. After having received numerous requests regarding the inclusion of a conversion tracker, Bone Fish has finally gone ahead and included this commodious feature to the service.

Now, by entering the admin centre and by adding a tracking code to the "HTML Edit" page, affiliates that have employed CPC marketing campaigns or similar can better track conversions for both the "registration" and the "payment confirmation" pages. With this feature affiliates now have more control over the marketing of their sites, and can adjust their bids based on the actual performance of each individual campaign, ad and ad variation for their networking site(s).

The team at Bone Fish Ltd listen to their affiliates and always do their utmost to take heed of suggestions, queries and issues put to them by their associates. So if you have something to say, an idea you would like to try out, or a feature that you think would improve the service as a whole, email us: mike.fitzgerald@bone-fish.com and we'll place it under discussion.

Bone Fish takes a leap in the right direction

"Happy Leap Day" to all. It is February 29th and the only socially-accepted occasion for women around the world to propose to their male counterparts. And on this perfect calendar day that occurs only once every four years, Bone Fish Ltd seals its latest relationship with one of Spains most prestigious and most popular, freely distributed expat publications - H! Magazine.

H! Magazine is a glossy lifestyle magazine on the Costa del Sol which focuses largely on news, social events, celebs, travel, motoring, fashion, health, beauty and music - and much, much more. With a print run of 26,000 along the Spanish coast and on the islands, H! Magazine is one of the widest circulated publications in the area, and "the place to be" for content and advertisers alike.

Bone Fish sees its union with H! Magazine as the start of a great expansion into southern Spain, and hopes to see it flourish into a distinguished and highly recognised dating site to match its standing in the publishing industry. Bone Fish wishes the team at H! Magazine the very best of luck and invites all affiliates to visit their online version at: http://www.h-magazine.com/. Taking a look at the site should also give affiliates the perfect insight into how Bone Fish can take a company's branding to create a dating service that keeps in context with an established identity. (Example pictured below).

We hope that our new service will increase traffic to http://www.h-magazine.com/ so that both parties can duly benefit from this novel partnership and development.

Suzi Takes the Bait

As you can see, this month at Bone Fish it is all about progress and expansion. In actual fact, not only is the company spreading its wings over the border and continually forming partnerships with companies in other countries, but it is also expanding its team to better serve and assist its affiliates.

This month we welcome a couple of additions to our technical and development teams, as well as a dedicated Public Relations Executive that will not only help to get the Bone Fish brand recognised throughout the world, but will also take an active role in pushing online dating as a whole.

From a communications and publishing background, Suzi Langley has worked in Madrid and in southern Spain for some of the world's most prestigious media-related agencies in a variety of roles (Copywriter, Sub-Editor, Chief Editor) in both the publishing and advertising industries. She is based at our head office in Gibraltar, and is your first point of contact for any media-related queries or questions.

Suzi can be contacted at: Suzi.Langley@bone-fish.com.

That is it for today. Have a great weekend and remember - with it being a leap year, you have an extra 24 hours to make even more sales and generate even more commissions. So keep up the good work and do not get side-tracked by women offering proposals of marriage.

Kindest Regards,

The Bone Fish Affiliate Team

And finally... NB: For those that enjoy weird and wonderful facts and myths, you might like to know that the idea of Leap Year and Leap Day dates back to 1288. It is said that in this year, on this day, the Scottish Parliament under Queen Margaret legislated that any woman could propose to a man during a Leap Year. What is more, if a man was to reject a womans proposal, he should soften the blow by providing a kiss, a pair of gloves (other sources say a silk gown), and a hefty fine for her humiliation. It was decreed that a man could only refuse a proposal - and get away without receiving any form of punishment - if he was already engaged to another lady.

The Leap Year Day tradition stems from the fact that February 29th was not a real day and had no status in English law - therefore, normal customs had no status either.
